Get to know your Audiologist
John Terence Perez, DBAc, MClAud, MMC
John Terence is a graduate of Clinical Audiology in University of Santo Tomas. After graduating the program, he worked as an Audiologist in a hearing aid corporation with a role to provide hearing care around the Philippines and supervise the operations of multiple hearing center branches. He became a Hearing Aid Specialist and Trainer of European and American hearing aid and hearing equipment brands.

With his passion to contribute to the betterment of lives of our hearing-impaired family, he assisted in human welfare organization projects from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to provide comprehensive ear and hearing services, ensuring equitable accessibility among Filipinos.

Currently, he is one of the Senior Audiologist of HearSound Healthcare Center performing audiological assessments and offering numerous High Quality hearing aid and hearing equipment brands in Metro Manila and municipalities of Rizal such as Antipolo, Tanay, Cainta, Teresa, Binangonan and many more.
Eduardo Manalo Jr., MD, MClAud
Eduardo graduated with a B.S. Biology degree from University of Santo Tomas in 2015. He obtained his Clinical Audiology degree from the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in 2018. While studying for his postgraduate degree, he worked as Programme Assistant for Better Hearing Philippines, Inc. a non-profit and non-government organization assisting the government in the prevention of hearing loss, implementation of hearing health programs, primary health care-based control of hearing impairment, and provision of hearing devices to indigents.

During his days with BHPI, it sparked his passion to help those people who are bound in silence. He attended various conferences, public health planning seminars with other NGOs together with DOH and joined various medical missions around the country which gave him a better view on the health system in the Philippines regarding hearing health that led him to continue his studies.

Currently, Eduardo is pursuing Doctor of Medicine at St. Luke’s Medical Center- College of Medicine William H. Quasha Memorial. He continues to serve as field clinical audiologist. He is an advocate for People with Disabilities (PWD) with a vision to help children born with hearing impairment in the provision of hearing aids for them to be able to join mainstream education and dedicated his life as a social mobilizer, to increase awareness and prevention of early onset and reversible hearing loss.
